Some 1635 employees are involved in the transformation of the raw material into modern timber products. Mayr-Melnhof Holz started, and continues with, the primary product, sawn timber; but today the portfolio covers a full range of glued laminated timber products: beams and panels for a host of structural applications, cross-laminated timber, formworks products, and pioneering composite concrete-glulam elements. Complemented by Hüttemann, Mayr-Melnhof Holz stands for decades of experience in structural timber, and offers a full service of timber engineering design, development and implementation of timber constructions. The pellets produced as sawmill by-products complete the portfolio.

The corporate headquarters of Mayr-Melnhof Holz Holding AG is located in Leoben, Austria. The group includes two sawmills with pellet plants in Leoben (Austria) and Paskov (Czech Republic) as well as three further sawmills in Blyberg, Insjön and Mora (all in Sweden). Timber processing plants are in Gaishorn and Reuthe (both in Austria), Wismar and Olsberg (both in Germany). All locations as well as the entire structural timber product portfolio are PEFC-certified.
