ADS Gesellschaft für angewandte Datensysteme mbH, Stuttgart, was founded in 1989 with the idea "From practice for practice". The shareholders and employees came from the fields of architecture, civil engineering and IT specialists. Our guiding principle still guides us today. We hear again and again: "You can tell that the software was not developed on the green table".
The first programme system was a tendering software, which was already designed as an innovative construction element AVA at the time. The reality in our own architectural office soon showed the need for a consistent IT organisation from planning to construction management. This realisation led to the development of the first construction software of this kind, the "BauProCheck" project software package, in 1993.
The "Classic" version was designed as Windows software that has proven itself over decades in projects of all sizes, from the renovation of a detached house to the Post Tower in Bonn.In 2015, the software package was completely redeveloped as "BauProCheck3" for new requirements and, in particular, for "access from anywhere" for use in the cloud.
From the "Classic" to the current "BPC NG" version, the core of the software is the unique "project diary" with an overview of all events, deadlines, tasks and documents.
The project diary offers all central functions for systematic organisation and time-saving working methods such as e-mail synchronisation, document automation and individual workflows. Special modules such as protocol manager, construction diary, defect tracking, special requests, plan management and mobile recording on the construction site can be added as required and make the application even more convenient and flexible.
Where technically necessary, ADS works together with long-standing technology partners who supply some of the basic components used or the mobile recording system and are also constantly developing them further.
